Hello everyone, I just got an 05 SLE convertible about a month ago. It's Lunar mist with the Nav and VSC. So far the only thing I have done is add the factory XM to it. I traded in a 2000 Grand Prix GTP. I'm amazed at how much smoother it rides. On a sad note though, mine has the left drift problem that they can't fix yet and a few other quality control issues that make me wonder about Toyota quality, but time will tell. I'm already learning tons about the car from the forum and hope I can help add to it also.

Thanks again,
Steve
When in doubt gas it out, brakes just slow you down.

Congrats on the new car and welcom to the forum.

I'm sorry to hear that you are running into the left drift problem. It is disappointing that Toyota still has not fixed these issues. The car is too nice for this sort of quality control. Most of the problems seem to be luck of the draw...some have it, some don't.

Good luck with the left drift and I hope that you enjoy the car!

Welcome, congrats on the '05. Don't just look at the bad side ..... there's a lot more good things about the car compared to others of its class.

Enjoy you new car. I did with mine......

I find it REALLY hard to believe they re-introduced the same manufacturing error on the '05 that they had, and corrected, on the '04. My '04 came without the left drift problem. Are you absolutely sure it isn't maybe a tire pressure or wheel balance problem? Do you notice it even on flat concrete roads? Are you in the left lane when this happens?

Please elaborate . . .
