My current car, a 1990 celica st, has finally reached 250,000 miles after 8 years of wonderful service. I feel it is time to find him a younger, more attractive companion.

Well after seeing this car debut in 1999 I have always wanted one. Fell in love at first sight you could say. So after 5 years of searching I finally found me a 2000 SE V6 with a 5 speed, oh in silver too.

So far it's completely stock but I did kill my first honda tonight. Looking forward to posting here guys, from what I've seen and heard this is the best solara site on the net.

Thank you all for the welcome. Here in Kansas City the Solara is a rare beast. Since its debut I dont think I've seen 25 of them in the city. I swear up and down I own the only 5sp V-6 in Kansas City. Now maybe if I can come up with the cash I'll have the only S/C 5sp V-6 in the state lol.

Save the money and get the s/c...you will love it even more. The Solaras are a rare breed...I'm seeing more and more locally, but the majority of them are stock and driven by old people. I'm starting to see the same thing for the Scion TC as well...
