Hi -- new to these Forums.

Toyota owner and fan for a long time.

Have driven older "Corona" cars overseas in the 1980s, and more recently owned a fully-optioned red/tan 1994 Camry V6 SE coupe (the Solara's predecessor) from 1993-1998.

Looking to get an 04/05 Camry SLE convertible SOON, and wanted to exchange info re: options, accessories, dealers, service, etc.

Welcome to the forum and hope you get that drop top SLE, I'm sure you're going to love it as much as most everyone here. There are lots useful infos, just use the SEARCH and you'll find just about anything and everything.

What color are you planning on getting? Keep us posted with pics when you get it.

ordered our TC Solara SLE convertible 10/16

Just placed our order yesterday, 10/16.

Arctic Frost Pearl / tan SLE V6 convertible with NAV, XM and all the options

Build date still TBD, but we're hoping for a late November / early December delivery.

Will post more updates/pix later.

You'll love the convertible. I picked up my 05 at the end of August. A couple of weeks ago I installed mud guards. Big difference in keeping the lower panels clean. A seller on Ebay is offering them at a good price.
