W-E-L-C-O-M-E ! ! !

Nice entry into the "fold"...

The "PULL LEFT" is NOT a safety feature... AHEMBS! 8)

There IS a TSB Technical Service Bulletin on it... which I had done to mine... then when I did my WHEELS and SPRINGS/DROP... I "recreated" the PULL, so the mechanic and I went back in, walked the TSB through ourselves, and got it NAILED dead nuts! YAY! NO MORE PULL!

Anyway... glad the '07 doesn't have it. (Why would they REMOVE a "SAFETY FEATURE"??? 8)

Nice to have you with us...

Just a little note here...TSB stands for Technical Service Bulletins. Every car company have their TSB ! ;)

Welcome, I have a 2007 with a black top in the color you hate. I still had to get a camera installed, even if the head rests have the little hole. I also like the 2007 better except for the grill. That big silver toyota circle on the cheap looking plastic egg crate style grill looks out of place on what other wise looks like an upscale car.

Welcome. If you want to put the "nimble" back in the '07, you'll want to get the RSB and FSTB from TRD. Cheap easy do it yourself that has huge handling bonus for the ragtop.

Welcome! I just bought a '02 ragtop myself, white/tan. Absolutely love it and I have to agree with you, the gen2 isn't quite as nimble.
