It actually was Lynch Toyota in Manchester. Usually, their service dept is pretty good. (My wife has a Rav4 that we purchased from them...and have had it serviced there for the past couple of years.)

Hartford Toyota is NOT someplace I would care to do business with. I've been in there twice...hopefully I'll never have to go back. They had one Solara convertible there about a month ago that I looked at. Their prices were WAY inflated, and they wouldn't show me their service dept. Each time I've been in there, I have been HOUNDED and the salespeople were obnoxious (swearing, yelling, etc...)

Lynch

Postby kblanch1 » Sun Dec 17, 2006 10:20 am

I spoke to someone at the service department. I told them that I just purchased a 2006 Solara SLE convertible with NAV, and wanted to know how much it would cost to have a backup camera installed. I know that they have cameras that work with that NAV (the Sienna has a camera as an option). He said that he had never heard of that before and checked in the book for optional equipment. Of course they don't list a backup camera for the Solara convertible...so he told me it couldn't be done.
Kinda disappointing...since I KNOW they are available for the Sienna (and I thought for the Rav4, as well...)

As I said...we have had very good experiences at Lynch all along. We bought my wife's Rav4 there, and their service has been great. So I was pretty bummed when they told me that about the camera.

LOL Lynch Toyota sounds like a place where customers come to get hanged. I guess it beats the service at Sodomy Toyota.
