well I have all of the records as part of the car, i just only have 1 key. I know the previous owner's address, but I don't think it's a good idea to give em a call and ask whether they've got them.

Yes, the remote is aftermarket. Why?!?! I found documentation with the records that there was some kind of audiovox alarm system installed. Why would you replace the stock? I don't like that. It also said that the remote had a learning function. So i'm not sure whether its just the remote that needed to be replaced or whether a whole alarm system was replaced. Where do I check.?

Also, on the belts side of my engine, its making some noise. You know those belt chirps? that's whats happening. Is that a bad sign? I'd like to silence it. I think I need to get my 2AZ-FE checked out! or am I being paranoid.

When I got my solara about 3 weeks ago it only came with one remote(which needed a new battery), 1 master key and a valet. I should've gotten another keyfob/key with it, but NoOoO some previous owner was too lazy to turn it in. Then i dropped $120 on a new toyota keyfob and had 2 keys made. meh.

Did you not check out the car before buying? Toyota's a great, but if the previous owner didn't take care of it...
