Thanks for the big welcoming:

To answer a few questions:

1) Bought the Solara Conv. at the Lakeland Toyota Dealership - good people but Toyota's method of reserving and shipping cars is the pits. Took several weeks of trying to get the exact combination of features, color and model. Toyota needs to understand how to do business.

2) I checked the electrical diagram (availble on request) of the Nav System and there is no longer a backup camera interface.

3) The Backup warning indicator that I used instead was fairly easy to install, cost $60.00 new on eBay. The display matches the silver and black center console scheme. It features a voice readout of the distance and an LCD display with the distance in meters. The connection to the transcever is wireless. All that is needed is to install the sonic transducers and a power connection to the backup lights. Took about 4 hours (I like to be carful when drilling) to install. I mounted the four transducers below the rear bumper, avoids having to drill holes untill I was sure I was going to keep it in place.

Again thanks for the welcoming...Mr. Robotics
