I'm just feelin' the love around here. :D

Glad to see that there are some Atl folks representing in here. I didn't hang out with the Maxima folks too much, but I think the Solara group is a more 'mature' audience.

As for the 4cyl vs. 6cyl.....as I said, I'm happy with my decision. I'm not trying to be the fastest thing on the street- and I can still get from point A to point B in good time (and the car looks damned good getting there!)

Cheers!

mtodde wrote:Welcome & congrats on the new ride. Like Rene said there aren't that many of us in the Atlanta area that participate. One of the things I'd like to do this winter is to make a home page for the Atlanta Solara folks on my Comcast pages. Maybe we could use a Gmail account or something and have a few of us monitor it; I set up atlsolaraclub@comcast.net and we could use it too. I'd like to print up some little business cards that we could put on the Solara's we see around town...there are plenty of them in the Dunwoody/Sandy Springs area...I'm sure most folks are too busy to participate, but we may pick up a few good people that way.

I seem to be detailing the cars of everyone that does participate, LOL. I'm going to get with Hari on Sunday and Randomman84 in a few weeks to detail their rides...maybe we can turn Saturday, December 11th, into a detail day for the Atlanta folks. I'll invite a fellow detailing enthusiast that has an ES330.

I've only noticed 1 other 2nd Gen Solara since I got mine last week. It was a blk SE on 85N last Thurs morning. Wonder where they're all hiding.

We have our moments but this is one of the best boards I frequent in terms of behavior and everyone getting along.

That's very diplomatic of you, Todd.

Do any of the Atl drivers work in the downtown area?
