Hello from Kazakhstan

Just bought '05 SE Sport in California. Rare 2.4 with black perforated leather and sport-package. Can't wait for it to be shipped to Almaty, Kazakhstan, where I actually live. I also want to ask my dealer to buy RSB, FSB, lowering springs and axle-back exhaust. All TRD. :)

Surprisingly cheap. $2500 or so. And import tax for 2.4 should be very low. Hope to sell my '98 Lexus RX300 to cover Solara-associated costs. These (L) things are overvalued here.

Wow, that's actually pretty cheap. I look forward to seeing pictures of your Solara once it arrives in Kazakhstan! :)

Are you hoping to see something awkward on the background? I know there are oddities around here, I may find some for you guys to have fun.

You'll have a pretty unique car over there when it arrives. You should get yourself a nice security system in it.

Here is a Lexus I currently own. Pretty unique too. You're right, security system is a must in this country. And it is also convenient to have remote start that comes with most of them.

Sorry for a little wreck on the front lip.

Awkward? No. :P I know it's weird but I always liked seeing pictures of cars in other countries or different environments, etc. Last month I drove through Times Square in New York City twice. If I hadn't lost my camera, I would've had a friend take a picture of my car in Times Square. ;)
