Hello everyone,
I don't want to feel like I am deceiving anyone. I don't have a Solara just yet. I have been walking back and forth to Indiana University/Purdue University at Indianapolis for a few years now. One more summer and I'm a Software Engineer. I've wanted a Solara for at least the past year or so and a 2004/2005 convertible will be my graduation present to myself. I wanted to get as much information as I could from people that know and love the car as opposed to people just trying to sell me one. I can begin by asking, does anyone have any advice as far as what I should be looking for in a decent 2004/2005 convertible at a decent price?

Hey akora12,
Nice Car. Do you have any idea what dealerships here in Indiana I should be looking to, to price a reasonable 2004/2005 convertible. I am not being picky about the trim at present.

Hello and welcome! I am in Indiana also. I would just look on Autotrader. That’s where I usually find the best deals on cars around here.
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.

Welcome!

Try www.craigslist.org - some incredible deals could be found there, but be extra careful of scammers. You'll know who they are. They're the ones that demand money up front before letting you even look at the car. :)

I agree with TadS, go with autotrader or something similar. I actually found my car on autotrader and paid considerably less than a dealership or even used car lot. Just be persistent and do your homework. Good luck!
