Hey, I'm the owner of a 2000 Solara I bought used last year. I found this site when I wanted to find a way to program my keyless remote. I'm really into working on my car but I hate going to mechanics. So far I've found really great info on this site. Does anyone know where I can post questions like where I can find the light bulbs that go in the vanity mirror, they look like fuses but I can't find them anywhere. Thanks.

welcome. it's simple there is a bulb lighting size for your car under Gen 1/1.5. make sure you search or you'll get flamed by the mods and other ppl.

I myself have hyper white led for the vanity lights. but thinking about changing it to blue (just for looks).
Stay away from the ones they sell at autozone and stuff, stick with the led or oem.. those autozone things all suck.
where many hate, few will love,
But for those who love,
they'll see what it's like to live.

Welcome!

Check out the threads in the Gen 1-1.5 forums. There should be a thread for aftermarket or OEM replacement lights in one of those. Try doing a Search to see if you get results you're looking for.

And by the way - Mods will only flame guys like you, Jeff!

Welcome :D

Sorry I don't recall the size of that bulb, I've still using the original. G/L with your search...

W-E-L-C-O-M-E ! ! !

Actually, I've found numerous things that I've been able to use at Autozone and Advance Auto Parts in my area... (Granted, there are some low end products as well. :-? )

Bulbs-wise, I've used SILVERSTARS in some applications, and they worked out ok for me. (Don't know that they make a vanity bulb! HA!)

...I'm no help... but this site will lead to you the answeres you need.
