Hi! I've had my 2006 convertible since Labor day of this year and am just now getting around to joining Solara Guy Forum. I have been enjoying browsing the threads. My car is Cosmic Blue with Ivory leather, with Nav system. It is in near mint condition with 23,000 miles. The previous owner did the first 21,000. I absolutely LOVE driving my car. There are very few Solaras in town and only one other convertable that I have spotted (Red&black). My husband and I have kicked around a couple of "upgrade" ideas and may post questions soon.

thanks

Thank you. We have talked about 3 things so far but are not settled yet on any:

1. Due to poor visibility - rear view camara
2. Installing an MP3 disc changer in the trunk (found one at local store - 12 disc - but takes up lots of space.
3. Installing XM tuner and subscribing.

And yes it is GREAT weather in Texax MOST days. The top was down day before yesterday. But I think I will keep Rain and Snow out today. :D

Agreed...I have listened to both, more so Sirius than XM...but I have to say Sirius is better. I love mine.

Thanks for the conversation about XM vs Sirius. Why the preference to Sirius?

Great to see another woman on the board!

I've been loving the weather, too - and I'm in Northern Jersey. The car temperature gauge said 50 degrees today and I automatically hit the drop-top-button. Great heater in the Solara!

I have Sirius and love it. Don't know that much about XM vs. Sirius but the talk I've heard is that Sirius will make it into the black before XM and that says a lot.
