Just bought a new car!

Just bought a new car!

Postby raytheater » Mon Oct 31, 2005 5:39 pm

Greetings all...
I just bought a "new" car. It's a red '04 Solara SE Sport with the V6, pwr moonroof, JBL premium sound. I have been driving a '96 Corolla for about 8 years, and I thought it is time for a change. And what a change it is!
I am totally in love with this car, the power is smooth, interior is clean, and I know a bunch of people hate the rear of the car, but I actually love the styling.
I just hope that it will prove to be as great mechanically as the 96 corolla was, it never saw the inside of a mechanic's shop!

Solara isn't slow... it is just not freakishly fast like some lead footed driver wanted it to be. The good thing is that it got a little of everything. The V6 delivers enough power to even attempt a trip to the future. :)
Such a great and often overlooked car, most people don't like the rear and they will never see the beauty of the interior. That brushed aluminium is like butter I tell ya... butter!

Congrats on your new Solara and welcome to the board. Looks like you're a loyal Toyota fan and good move from the rolla to the lara! Post some pics when you have time.
