Hey guys I bought a 2000 Toyota Solara with 57,000 miles last night. I am totally new to the Toyota world .. the Solara has extended 4/48000 warranty and I would appreciate anyone coming fwd who knows about Solara or Toyotas in general to tell me what I should have checked out, maintained, or fixed. Thanks a lot hope to start learning more about Toyota Solara.
Thanks again,

oh.. BTW, the only problem that I realized last night was that the dash board light/dash & climate control bulbs is not luminating entirely.. I see that the speedometer but not the odometer, it is very very dim. Any advice is appreciated

Congrats and welcome. It sounds like you just need to replace 1 of the lights in the dash. There are several #194 and a couple #74 lights in there. We have lots of information in the tutorials section on dash lights and interior lights in general. Even info on white-faced reverse glow gauges. -JoeB

Welcome.. From what i think, try turning the knob on the left side steering wheel to see if the light control is on max. Its a knob.. If it isnt then you got a burnt bulb or so.
