New to the Solara

Postby gottabfast » Tue Sep 06, 2005 8:42 am

Hello everyone!
My parents purchased a 99 Solara with the I4 5S-FE last year...I drive it to and from college when my 1991 Sentra SE-R is broken or I'm adding something to it. I've always been a Nissan guy, but recently I've been doing a lot of work on Toyotas (a 98 Sienna with the 1MZ-FE and the 99 Solara). My family has owned several Toyotas over the years, so I'm no stranger to the impressive mechanicals of these cars. Hopefully I'll be able to contribute as much as I obtain from this forum...
Thanks,
Zack

Thanks for the warm welcome! My Sentra SE-R has over 200K miles and is my track school car currently. I own a 1990 240SX that is being turned into an SCCA IT-A racecar. The Solara is about the first decent daily driver I've ever had, it's definitely the only car I can take a girl on a date in...

Glad to hear you're finally getting rid of a Sentra... I had a 2004 year model that broke down on me 8 times. Welcome.
