wanna say hi & question about Solara

Postby qhoc0010 » Sun Mar 20, 2005 12:17 am

I just got my Solara about 1 month ago. I wonder how Solara represent the owner. I mean I just like it because of the design. But I heard someone said that most Solara drivers are female (I am a guy). So is it true that Solara is for girls, mostly? Or some even say that the car makes me look "old" because it is only for elderly!! So I want to know your opinions about these personal's references.

Welcome! I believe a lot of cars go through this. Just because the Solara isn't a high tuner car we will always get that IMO. I know my car doesn't look or sound like a girl or grandma drives it. 8)

Welcome and don't let the haters get to you. I almost bought a celica b4 I bought my Solara, but I thought the celica was too much of a "chick " car.

I got the "chick car" and "grandma car" comments from my friend and co-workers when I first got my Solara... but now when we go out, they want to take my car. It's got more class than many cars out there, and comfort - I have friends with four-door sedans who prefer going places in my car. The car's got class.
