Goodbye to my Solara

Goodbye to my Solara

Im not sure where else to put this but I thought a goobye thread might help some newcomers picking up a used Solara out.

So I sold my 04 Solara and got a Camry Hybrid very different car but Im happy. Certainly not as wowed as I was when I got the Solara there was something about buying that car that just made driving very exciting. I loved the Solara very much and it was very hard to let go.

I put close to 300 000 kms ( 190 000 ish miles) on it did a lot of driving in that car.

I never really had any major problems with the car I found buying new tires was pricey and had to buy 2 new sets, the car did rattle a lot in its last few years, the Camry I have is sooooooo much more quiet. That comes with age though.

other things to watch for on the car...

The seatbelt started to feather away caused from that extension unit they put on there.

The lumbar support button stopped working but once you set that you basically forget its ever there.

and thats really about it, I took care of the car and it took care of me. May sound weird but I envy you guys and your Solaras. A part of me wishes I could have kept the car forever.
