aigh guys ive been kinda busy with work and college nd havent had time to get crap done. but i wanted to put up my babyz pic. nd here we go. shes fresh nd shining. not really sure what to do now. i havent had time to even get the upgrades above. but i will definetly be getting the tints soon. maybe 35 in the front and 15 in the back. and i was unsure if i wanted to go with black rims (along with a black grille, tailights, and headlights) or chrome rims with a chrome grille. nd also if someone can help im still having trouble finding a intake for the car. =] (and i appologize for making a new topic. i updated the other one but it would not post up)

i would go with black rims, drop it on TRD's the cp-e intake would work best for your car.

:evilbat: Welcome to SG :evilbat:

If ya do a little searching and a little waiting you might find some Michale Artic Frost chrome grill accents. Which look hot on a Gen 2. IMO, tint on a car looks the best when its all the same %

Have a fun and enjoy SolaraGuy!!! 8)

Michael is selling the grills once again. I got my 2nd set a few days ago. They are the only aftermarket grilles I'd sport on a gen2.
A CP-e is the best intake made for the lara.
Tints and a drop will make for a drastic eye pleasing change.
Just be sure to drop the lara before you sport new shoes... unless you're going to be sporting 20"s.

^^Garrett, thanks for the kind words.^^

CmeFLY,

Welcome to SG and congrats on your ride. A good friend of mine has one in that color. Check it out.

Also, is your's an i4 or v6? Just curious. As far as modding and upgrading and not sure what your budget is while you're in college. My best recommendation is to save your money for school. You have a very nice ride already, but if you must, good luck with your project. Keep us posted.

hey thanks for all the feedback. okay so the cp-e intake is short ram right? nd would it have any significant gain anywhere? also. since fall nd winter are right around the corner. im not looking to spend money on any rims and gettin the solara lowered. so basically right now i think tints, intake, trd rsb, nd a grille. but still not sure if i wanna go with chrome or black. =/ lol so ill jus wait on that grille after the other three items.

Quite costly to purchase the lip from the dealership and you have to get it painted as well. You can search on ebay, but good luck as you know, everyone and their grandmothers lives on ebay...lol.

Yes, Tact's (tacti) ride is the first gen 2 i4 that's turbo. He's also an SG member. Good luck with your mod list and keep us updated on your progress.

To answer your question about cp-e being a SRI (short ram intake), you are correct and I believe dyno numbers were moderate with the Injen roughly 11-13whp.
