Good Morning

Postby JenniferA » Wed Jun 24, 2009 8:06 am

I just drove home in my new 2006 Solara Convertible SLE and am looking around for things I need/want. I need to first get a manual, any help woudl be great. I am also looking for a windscreen and some ways around the Sirius Radio installation and price.

I was spoiled before with my sirius in my car and was hoping this one was already wired for it, but I checked the trunk and it wasn't...bummer! I didn't want to drop all that money for the receiver and fit kit, etc. Plus, i am not crazy about taking the whole car apart to wire it. I used all my money to get the car. Anyone have suggestions or selling anything?

I could also go for some real floor mats, but they are $75 on line. Will keep looking.

Anyway, just wanted to say hello to all.

Welcome to SG. ^-^

There's the manuals for the car. Don't have much else to help you with. But check out the forums and I'm sure you'll find some sort of help. Good luck.

Welcome!

That's the same car I just got rid of a couple weeks ago! :)

No easy way around the Sirius install. You either have to tear the car apart yourself or pay someone else to do it for you. Receiver goes under the passenger seat in the convert. and you have to run your wiring up into the dash. Not too hard to do, just takes time. ;)

Good luck!
