New to S/G
I just started using Solara guy, ive had my solara for 2 years now. 1999 se v6 5 speed. So far all ive gotten done to it is a custom CAI i made from a short ram and some plumbing materials from canadian tire. I got an alright speaker set up with the mtx 10s and their amp too, capacitor needs a better alternator, i have cheap 20 dollar seat covers from andys auto sport.com, yes it does its job covering the seats. Im trying to paint the fake food grain trim thats on the interior to black, I already have the grey interior, or as i now refer to as, "gun metal" seeing how i just go 17 inch gun metal rims for it. The 17s are small, i was strapped for cash, but im alright, it hurts to see all those pics of solaras on this forum with better sized rims, but i can always change them later on. for now, i hate the stock rims. I traded in some old 4 bolt rims i had for a 91 prelude i used to own and got new rims for a difference of 500. I have that stock champaign colour or what ever it is. With the carpet seats, Im trying to find black leather, to give it that leather difference. Im going to get a twm short shifter hopefully some time soon, i already got the tein s techs put on a while ago, which i would highly recomend to anyone unsure. I used this site to make the decision, and im happy with the springs. When i park reversed on a drive way and the front wheels are at the end of it at the line where the road ends and driveway begins, and i cant even fit my foot under the front stock bumper thats lipless, i feel that feeling of "i should really get it higher with some rims, but damnnnnnn, this shits lowww" and make my friends all stare. loll. I joined this site to talk about the solara and maybe even get opinions and ideas for my own. So for those solara experts out there reading this, let me know the deal, solara in training over here. My names Aaron.
