I picked Eclipse because of their quality and mostly because of their reliability. I had an Eclipse headunit before in my 99 Acura Integra that never failed me once in 4 years. Alpine and Pioneer sound great too but I just went with what I trusted. If you get an Eclipse professionally installed there is a 3 year warranty plus a $1000 replacement guarantee if your head unit gets stolen with their ESN turned on.

Man, have you come to the right place!!! Welcome. And thanks for the pics. I have "the mist" too and it's nice to see what she looks like with different colored/styled rims.

I am thinking of getting a coilover and strut set but I mostly concerned about ride quality. I have a 6 year old and the car is a daily driver so I am still leery about doing the whole lowering thing because as anyone knows the freeways in LA suck *SS.

Eclipse head unit...

Postby dannyssolara » Fri Dec 23, 2005 1:52 am

One more reason I forgot to mention why I chose the Eclipse head unit was the fact that the steering wheel controls are plug-and-play for Eclipse. So I can swap sources, skip discs, change stations, and adjust volume all from the steering wheel without any special wiring or harnesses.
