hELLO!! I am new in this forum.. I am from Moca Puerto Rico and own a 1999 Solara V6.. I love my car and I already have some things added on it like the fiber carbon tailights, the corner lights, i have a dvd inside and im still going to put more things soon. I will like to put the carbon fiber dash kit in the interior but I dont know if it will look good with my interiors that are leather color tan. Please help me and if you have any picture showing something like what I want please send them.. Thanks!

welcome!

i have the tan interior also and have found it difficult to match interior mods with the tan...

i think that the only place to put cf is around the center console since it's already black...but other than that i think it's going to look tacky...

Welcome :D
I used to have the brushed aluminum kit with my tan interior. IMO, it's not the color of the kit, it's the quality. They are like thick azz stickers. Some pieces are off too, the ones on the doors suck. I ultimately took all of them off. Since my car is black, I just painted the faux wood trim with touch up spray of black sand pearl and other the pieces flat black...

I have the tan interior too. It's the only thign I would have liekd different about my car when I got it, but oh well.

Astro, do you have any pictures of the brushed aluminum kit on? Caus eI Wa shtnking about getting it, I remmber seeing it somewhere, maybe it was that guy from Russia's Solara? I thought about CF but decided it would look way tacky.

Looking at yours I may actually end up doing some form of custom black paint over the faux woodgrain crap. This especially because none of the dash trim kits cover those 2 thick stripes that come around to both doors.

Sorry, I don't have any pics with the kit. After awhile, I got rid of it. The pieces just didn't look right and match with the interior. I ordered black sand pearl spray paint (code 209) from AutomotiveTouchUp.com. I really like the look, I think Toyota should've paint matched those faux wood pieces.
