Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to say "HI", and introduce myself. I just bought a 2001 Solara SLE V6. It is dark green with tan leather interior. It is completely stock for now but, I am looking forward to modding it a little. For starters, I am planning a body kit, lowering springs and maybe some exhaust work. Luckily, my brother-in-law is a mechanic at the local Toyota dealership so, he hooks me up on service(my family owns a 2001 Camry,a 1996 Tacoma, and before I got this Solara I drove a 1995 Camry).
Anyway, I am looking forward to participating in the forums and chatting with you all.

Later,

Mike

Welcome Mike. Green and Tan...good choice! The body kit and the lowering springs make all the difference...

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I am looking forward to chatting with you folks as I transform the Solara into my pride and joy. My Solara is going to be a daily driver which for me is about 800 miles per week. I work in the medical industry and travel throughout NC,SC and part of VA.

Anyway, thanks again.

Hey Rudy,
I am not too far from you. I live just east of Burlington, over in Hillsborough. You are right, I see very few Solaras here in NC.
