Hey guys,

Thanks for welcoming me into this great forum.
I am a fresh Gen 4 Camry owner cruising on the west coast, US.
She's a 1999 V6 LE with newly rebuilt -at no cost- motor by Toyota (due to nefarious sludge problem).
All stock except for newly upgraded KYB struts and mounts.

I too had a 99 Camry before I got my Solara. I didn't have a sludge problem. It was a great car, lasted me 5 yrs and some 60K miles but had to change to something more sporty. Good luck with your ride and welcome to the forums.

Welcome! You'll find this place very helpful and informative. I had a 98 v6 Camry before I got my new solara. Those things can run.

where is mentat? and wov! thats the first person i know whos had that sludge problemo! were your oilchanges+service intervals on a timely basis?
