An alignment most likely won't fix the problem but maybe it will if you're lucky. If not, there is a TSB out that your dealership could do. It seems many dealers want to try other methods first though from what many forum members say. If you do a search, you should be able to find out alot more about the TSB.

Yeah. just edited my post so I wouldn't get a slap on my wrist for not using the search. I printed the tsb up from alldata and highlighted it. Monday I am off to the dealership

Let us know what happens. I have a minor left drift on the highways only so haven't brought it in for the TSB. My VIN number doesn't match the numbers listed for the TSB anyway. I think a couple people here got their left drift fixed from the TSB but for some others it had no effect.

ok, well seems that the dealership I bought my solara at can't tell the head from their ass. Told me the car does not drift, yet I take it on the highway and as soon as I let go of the wheel, goes to the left. Called them up and tomorrow I am going for a test drive with the guy.

Congrats and welcome Jim,

I hope they fix the left drift the first time, it took them 3 tries to get mine right. Other than that and a few minor things, I'm pretty happy with the car.

I'm sure you'll love the drop top, just as long as you don't have any problems with the drop top like MrMikeL did MAJOR Convertible Top Problem - Malfunction in the tension cable

Congrats on your convertible and welcome :bday: I guess I was one of the lucky ones, haven't experienced any of the tsb's (knock on wood). BTW, what color is your car?

Welcome Jim

I picked up my 05 about 4 weeks ago. I absolutely love it. To date no issues.

Good luck with your new ride :)
