Enclosure for Infinity Perfect 12.1

Does anyone have suggestions on enclosures to buy for Infinity Perfect 12.1s?

I'm kinda new to the whole car audio thing but from reading the specs, it says each speaker will need a volume of 1.75 cu ft. Can I select a box with a lower cubic ft volume? Will it still sound good?

try not to go below 1.5

the bass will get "tighter" and not get as deep/low the smaller the box you go with

if you go under recommended, you should stuff it with polyfil. Itll slow down the soundwaves so that it acts like its 10-20% bigger, so yea, 1.5 is about as low as you should go while still making it sound like it was intended to be.

You get killed for shipping if you order it online.

I suggest going local, but retail chains also tend to overcharge since they dont sell many boxes. If you looking for something cheap, check out the retail chains anyways, maybe youll find a good deal. Best case would be to find someone who specializes in making boxes, but I know thats not easy.

I'll probably go with ebay i think.

Any suggestions on whether I should use a sealed or ported box for these subs? Some people are telling me its kinda easy to blow a sub in a ported box by playing freqs lower than what the box is tuned at.
