I'm getting focal polyglass (either 6.5 components or 6x9's) for my birthday (July 29th). I'm thinking I want to put them in the back just cause I like it to be louder from the back since the 6.5's are right next to you,,, also,,, the people in the back of the car are hearing more bass, so they should get an appropriate boost on trebble/mid tones.

What do you guys think?? should I get 6.5's or 6x9's?

6.5 recreates tones better

but 6x9s can make better bass, but aren't as great sounding as 6.5,

I would have to say for you to get 6.5s and a subwoofer =P

It would be a waste to to put the Focals in the rear. When you listen to music live you dont listen to it from behind do you?? You want your staging to be to the front where LIVE music comes from. The rear speakers should just provide a little fill in sound. Besides its your car, to heck what the back seat passengers get to listen to right??? :D :D
