Alpine Type R, 4 ohm or 2 ohm....
I bought a subwoofer and Q-loqic box from a local car audio shop, over a year ago, I did not write down if it was a four ohm or two ohm sub. Now I want to amplify it, and I cant fiqure it out.
Alpine Type-R SWR-1221D 12" Dual 2-ohm Component Subwoofer
or
Alpine Type-R SWR-1241D 12" Dual 4-ohm Component Subwoofer
It has the two terminal posts, that run to one side of the sub, then it has another wire that runs to the other side of the sub.
I opened the port hole up to do this investigating. I could not think of any other way to fiqure out the Ohms.. I hope you can help me here.
