Connects for Indash 6

Some quick questions, if anyone knows.

Is the indash 6 plug and play with the connects from cars that came with the regular CD player? Also, does it have an internal amp or was it only available with the JBL system with external amp?

What in-dash 3 in 1 are you referring to?

Cool, sorry I didnt read that post since around Newyears. From what I read, the needed harness is different. Thanks for the info.

How about the amp? Do you need an external amp for the 6disc?

in dash 6 pack, cassette, and tuner. NOT just the single CD player, cassette, and tuner. HTH.

Ah, gotcha. OK. Just to clarify, it is a plug and play proposition. The plugs for any Toyota stereo made are in the car, they're just plugged into the factory amp. Just unplug them from the amp, and plug them into the new OEM stereo (if it's not the same connection that the original stereo used, in which case, don't fiddle with the amp, just plug it in, bolt it down, and roll).

I am confused now. I wanna put the 3 in 1 with the 6 changer in my 99 which currently is a 3 in 1 single player. Both are JBL. That would be tight if it was PnP, but the harnesses look different in the pics I've seen. I'll def. check it out after the alarm and some mech. work is done first. 8)
