Aite guys, I'm not sure what I want to do with my head unit. The factory stereo isnt too bad but Id like something aftermarket with ipod interface. Needless to say if I do that Id most likely go with Pioneer as I've had good luck with their products in the past and I like their ipod interface better than Alpine's. However, I'm not sure how a single DIN deck would look installed in my camry. Seems all the double DINs I find are from no name companies or companies I dont care for or are just too gaudy looking.

This is my cheap Pioneer, got it a year ago for $80. I have an external input under the oakley case

Thank you. Looks good. Guessing I'll be going with another pioneer in the near future. Oh, and that compartment underneath ur headunit, was that part of an install kit or you make it or what?

that is the "dash kit"

just a pocket that uses the factory brackets of the OEM radio.

It's also a cheapie (DEH-MP2600), but my stock CD player refused to play CDs without skipping... Oh yeah, not to mention that it won't play CD-RWs period (used it a lot).

...Plus I did that "Solara" thing on purpose by popping in a CD and naming it so; not that it comes that way or anything.

Here ya go.....it can be ghetto with the cassete + ipod hook-up but it works pretty well. And yes before I get raped by the clean patrol....i do need to clean baaad..lol
