I recently picked up a SkiFi2 XM FM Modulator to go with my stock JBL soundsystem. I wasn't happy with the static so I picked up this nifty gadget:

It works great, but it came with an nice little power adapter that I can hide behind the console. I want to hook it up to the lower ac outlet, but I can't think of a solution that would be very stable. Anyone else get this kit? Or maybe just suggestions in general?

Well, I got it done!

I split the power and the ground lead on the attachment and ran the power lead directly to the 15A Power Outlet Fuse.

I then grounded the other lead to a screw that was attached to the ground of the car. I had just enough wire with the kit that I didn't have to splice any extra, and I didn't have to use any new fuses either. For anyone interested, this hides your power cable on the Satellite Radio behind the dash of your car quite well, and doesn't require any other parts.

I use a USASpec DF-TOY Dual channel direct interface into my JBL. I can't stand anything that goes thru FM or tape decks. yeckk....

It has 2 pairs of RCA inputs and can be controlled using the CD changer controls of the JBL HU. Clean as can be.
