I am going to buy a Mp3 player for my solara but it will be just half size of the stock HU , how do u guys fill another half part ?
I don't need the stock AMP for my new MP3 player ,right ?

I recommend the metra 88-00-8000 instead of the new 88-00-9000. The 9000 has slots in it so you can fit 3 CD jewel cases in it. Who the hell uses that. The 8000 is just a blank pocket.

i use it for cd's and other things

and personally think the pocket leaves a closer to stock look rather than just a blank cover..lots of cars come with a slot like this stock... not many come with it covered..ya know??

Well yeah that's what I meant, the blank pocket is just a hole (the common one everyone uses) as opposed to the 9000 that has little plastic slots inside the pocket that separates 3 CD cases.

I'll be drilling a small hole in the back corner to run the Ipod wire so I can just let it sit in there.
