ipod adapter install

I am a totaly car audio idiot, and I know it! Help!

I am looking at getting my ipod hooked up so I can play it in my car.

I still have my factory stereo in my '99 Solara, I have the JBL system.

This item from Blitzsafe seems like the perfect one for me
http://www.discountcarstereo.com/detail.aspx?ID=786

It comes with the connectors I need and even charges my ipod. However, its out of stock.

I am looking at:
http://www.discountcarstereo.com/detail.aspx?ID=705
with http://www.discountcarstereo.com/detail.aspx?ID=164
But I would lose the charging capablitiy if I go that route.

Are there any other good options that would be "cheap" as in under $100.

I am willing to do the install myself *gulps* but could use advice on this matter.

Thank you very much.

It's a really easy install no matter what adapter you go with.

A "cheap" route would be this ---> http://www.solaraguy.org/viewtopic.php?t=21157

Okay this is a stupid question... but does the USA spec one come with all the wires I would need?

Thanks again!

I think it will come with the harness that connects to the headunit, but you'll need the Y cable that connects the iPod to the hub

Thanks for all the help! I was able to buy teh USA spec unit and install it myself. It was not too bad to do the install myself, I was surprised! So now I can listen to my ipod through my speakers!

Is there any way that you could do that, setting up an AUX input without buying that usa spec device or anything else? I remember reading somewhere a long time ago that someone did some wiring and hooked up a 3.5mm jack to the cd output and so he just had to play a blank cd and he would be able to listen to his ipod/mp3 player.
Is that possible for a toyota?
