yeah no rattles at all...remember the thread about making your doors shut like more expensive cars...this is one way..deaden the shiat out of them..

got two layers of raammat on the outer panel. mat where i could fit it on the inside of the inner panel, and 2-3 layers on the outer inside panel. had to remove some in places to get the door panel back on..

trunk has 1 layer on floor, and two layers on walls and rear deck..also have a layer and foam between the trunk and the cabin..oh and the plastic panels that line the trunk are all done too w/ a single layer

the area between the trunk and cabin could be the source of rattles if left unchecked..its plastic directly against metal..

believe it or not the stock jbl systems in these cars w/ a little extra power produce very nice midbass. the aura replacements i have in need much more power to equal the output of the stock stuff @ about 20 watts a speaker or so..sq is much better now though

next step is new components (think i am going back to cdt hd62's)

and a 4 ch. amp to run fully active..

Very nice install man. How do you like the Oz Matrix Elite?

Oh and you might want to swoop up on these 180CS's

got it from parts express (the grille)

i made an offer on those elites..wasnt high enough and for 260 i think i will try the diy route although i hear they are nice...

i just won an opti 1400d from ebay for 100 bux new.

and i am buying a 160 amp alt next week hopefully..(i hope solara!!) so components are going to have to wait a couple more weeks..

pics look kina crappy..goona redo it once i get the opti in..prolly going to get a bigger sub too as long as the alt goes through..
