Now most of you probably read this thread.

Eclipse CD8053-Xetec amp

Well, the Eclipse took a crap on me. So I sold it, and I sold my Xetec amp.

I then bought this headunit.

http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/t103689.html

Then right after buying that headunit, I thought, ah what the hell, I want to try a 3 way front component system, so I bought this headunit.
http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/t104036.html

Man, I finally get a system installed and it isn't even in there for a week :drinking:

I'm going to hook up the P1R for the next two weeks, and use a POS kicker amp on the tweters and another cheap amp for my mids(still need to buy amp)

Saving up for an array of Audison VRx amps. www.audison.com

your sick..you need a sound system psycologist!!!

that is a sweet deck..you can get em for cheap now a days too!..i was going to go with one but was a bit intimidated back then ..i was just getting into car audio then.

also i wanted mp3 capability back then which i could care less for now..i mean its ok but i like the best possible sq i can get and mp3 isnt it..

i think they have some load/unload problems sometimes but for the price just get it fixed if something should happen.

did you get a mic w/ it? i was always curious to see how this worked

You are definitely insane. I don't know if I can count how many times you've changed your mind on amps, speakers ... You should open a branch of eBay for DIY mobile audio :P

lol, The DRZ9255 is about as good as you can get, and it's a new model, so that won't be changing in a while. The tweeters are staying, I love these MB Quarts's. Since I now have the option of running a 3 way front + sub, I will take out the Phaze 6.5 mids, and use a 3"-4" Midrange in the A Pillar, and an 8" Midbass in the door.

Looking into a few things right now:D

I'm probably going to be using an MB Quart RAA4200 (100 watts rms x 4) to power the tweeters and the Midrange, then a RAA2400 (2 x 200 watts rms) to power the Midbass, then a RAA2400 Bridged, or at 2 ohm stereo to power a pair of 12"s.

Those amps will be temporary of course.

The replacements for those will be either Audison VRx Series, or a McIntosh MC4000M for the front stage(4 x 100 watts rms and 2 x 300 watts rms-6 ch amp) Then a McIntosh Mono amp for each sub.
