im probably going to be getting about 650-700 dollars back from the insurance company for my system and thinking about replacing everything with this...might have to add a few $ but not willing to spend more than 750 for everything...not including install

Alpine CDA-9851 (head unit)
(2) Alpine SVS-1222D Subwoofers
Kenwood KAC-9152D Amp
Kenwood KAC-7202 2 CH Amp

any other thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

I have decided to just get replacements...

I have the 9152 amp and it hits damn good! Also had the 7201 before, which was a great deal for the money as well.

The only recommendation I may make is to make sure the amps are well ventilated. If not, look into getting some fans back there or something to cool it down a little. They don't get hot very often, but I have had it happen once or twice, only when I was cranking it up for the long drives (2+ hours). Good luck with the install!

I can put together a WAY better system than that for the money(no offense to people using these products)

Let me know if you're interested and I'll do some research.

well i just got off the phone with the insurance company and they are replacing everything...

I had a 7inch indash monitor off ebay that I got for 100 bucks and the insurance company said it was 300 so I put that towards the deductible and got that down to 200...

instead of my pioneer premier 860MP, i am getting the kenwood excelon KDC-X889.

Instead of my JBL BP1200 they are getting me the JL Audio 1000/1.

Instead of my DHD Amp for the inside speakers, they are getting me the JL Audio 300/4

Instead of my Premier TSW-2000SPL Subs they are giving me some JL Audio w6v2's.

All will be installed for free by State Farm.

All and all I am pretty happy with everything, I just dont know if such a nice system is worth putting back into a car that was just broken into.

What do you guys think??

im very happy with it, it is suppost to come in today so im excited as hell, cant wait to hear what it sounds like. Do you guys think I should get a component set for the inside, i have replaced the 6x9s with pioneers and dont want to change those out because that was the biggest hassle ever, im on a tight budget and im going to be getting tint soon its just an idea, i do have an audiobahn line driver and that makes a world of a difference, im not too knowledgeable on car audio and if you guys have a great website i can learn from that would be great, I want to become what camxrunner is basically, like that knowledgeable and after reading the reviews of the kenwood head unit, I can tweek it a lot and I want the best sound output and the best quality for the money, obviously I think the subs and amps are taken care of, the head unit sounds great, just want to know what else I should do. I do have 101,000 miles on the car and dont want to spend that much more money on the car then I already have too, thanks a lot!

Well I got to some thinking and I read the reviews of the w3v2s and i got two of those instead of the w6v2's and instead of the 1000/1 i got the 500/1 and got new boston 3way 6x9s and Boston Pro60 Component Set and JL Audio amp wiring and 4 Gauge Wire Kit, all new RCAs and the install and dash kit and wiring harness will be free.

Getting them installed on Monday or Tuesday, so excited.
