Anyone heard of Marksman Auto Alarms?

I'm shopping for some auto alarms that include remote start, 2-way pager, window auto up/down, etc... and someone recommendws Marksman to me. From what I know, they're owned by DEI (they own viper, clifford, hornet) so they should be reputable. They also told me that their pager remotes surpass the Viper ones because Viper remotes are very sensitive and break easily(?)

Can anyone vouch for this?

Clifford is actually the flagship alarm of DEI. the same quality goes into each of their products whether it's a viper/sidewinder, or a clifford, or a hornet alarm.

however, i haven't ever heard of Marksman alarms being owned by DEI...?

I'm with krook - not sure where you got your info, but DEI doesn't make marksman

I have say that I'm a bit leery not being to able to find company info on The Marksman with a casual search.

i mean, i've HEARD of Marksmen alarms. but usually that is accompanied with a "pfffff" and a roll of the eyes or shake of the head.

if you're lookin' for a remote start system, go with the Viper 790XV or the Clifford Matrix 3.5, hands down. you won't regret it.

I'm leaning toward Clifford more than Viper. I hear the Viper 2-way pagers break very easily.

mmmmm....not really. they're made by the same manufactuer so the same quality goes in both remotes. i actually have the Clifford Matrix 3.5 with a blue Viper remote. (the buttons are easier to push as they are upraised more than the Clifford)

Viper 791XV.

That's what I'd go with personally.
