I baught a new sub/amp for my car this week and i am going to install it tomorrow. i am going to be running them with my stock head unit for about a month till i get a new deck for my birthday, my question is can anyone hook me up with a wiring diagram for the stereo in a 00 solara.. the stereo shop i have been going to for years told me to hook up the converter to the front speakers rather then the back to avoid noise threw the speakers when i turn off the car. so if anyone could just tell me the colors of the front speakers and also the color of the remote wire on the back of the deck i would greatly appreciate it.

This is from a '99. Your's shouldn't be different.

The front left speaker wires are pink for positive and purple for negative. The right front's are light green for positive and light blue for negative.

The rear left is black for positive, and yellow for negative. The right rear is red for positive and white for negative.

This also applies for the JBL system from the output of the external amplifier behind the glovebox.

The ACC turn on lead is a thin light grey wire.
