they can.... but if your looking for better sound in the front why not go with a set of components..

its not that much more then the ones you have listed..

go with some infinite, jl audio, or even mb quartz... that are about 150 for a set for the basic models...

i got my Jl audio for about $225.00 shipped..

Yeah they will work man.
Just be sure if you use the stock mountin' brackets to secure the speaker to the bracket good.
It would be better if you make some MDF brackets though.
I have some Alipne Type S, and they sound awesome, but my rear passenger is startin' to rattle caues i didn't secure the speaker down good, now i got to make some MDF brackets for them.

6x9 will work in the back, and if you really want to, you can use the stock basket (minus the speaker, duh) and just screw into the bracket... your best bet is to get a baffle and mount directly to the metal (with the baffle being between the speaker and metal). The back speakers are a pain to get to though, so I'd suggest just getting your high-end "happy speakers" you really want when you decide to put them in. The fronts are 5 3/4", and they're easy to get to, and you can use the stock mounts as long as you cut/dremel the little piece on it that holds the wire mount.

Most definitly... If used for the front channel, they will bring a richer sound stage. And yes Strider327, they fit perfectly in the front doors and rear chimsel (rear deck). Good luck on your project.

Hey Strider327... When you get that sway-bar installed, Make sure you have the technician lube the polyurethane bushings with either lithium grease or synthetic grease. You'll thank yourself for doing so. :D Doing this will eliminate future squeaking in the rear suspension. Good luck.

comps > coaxials. Those x9s will work in the back, but upgrading the front speakers should be your first priority.
