What wire gage do u guys use for the wire that goes from the sub to the connectors inside the subbox? i currently have 16 gage is that enough?

Larger wire = better connection, less resistance, better sound. I would use 12 ga. or larger to the subwoofer (I'm running 16 from the head unit to the speakers).

How many watts are you pushing to the sub?

its a temporary setup till i buy a good one from wortonsolara....uhm my sub is rated at 250 rms....so not that much...but still...u think i should use 12?

I am using a 10 gauge wire from speaker box to sub. JL w7 needs good connections to sound good..

from amp to sub box i am using 10 gauge also..
