didnt like the kappas, too bright for my tastes, but probably perfect for other people, especially if you have an aftermarket hu with equalizer. im selling the kappas, check the FS section.

Good choice, the Alpine Type R speakers are great-sounding. I've had mine since September and I can't find any complaints.

Expect to drill in the back though. For the front, just use a dremel to remove the plastic bracket that holds the stock wiring harness (you'll see it when you get in there) and you can use that basket for a nice and smoove fit.

hmm, what about just drilling new holes for the bracket it comes with? i did that for my kappas, it worked out nicely. i want to leave my stock ones intact in case i want to put them back in.
