Kenwood DDX7015/Connecting External Sources

Okay heres the deal, I am getting my Xbox modded and having it put into my car to connecting to my Kenwood DDX7015. And heres the problem, will i be able to use the touchscreen capabilities that come with DDX7015 along with my xbox or will i have to use the xbox controller to pick & choose what game or movie i want to play?
ANd if the touchscreen will not work with this situation is there any kind of adapter or wiring that can be done to accomplish this?
I have been trying to research this but cant find any info on it.
Thanks in advance

Kenwood touch screen is for the units built in menus only. It cant directly control any non Kenwood external sources. You will have very limited control of any non Kenwood sources plugged into it if you have any control at all. Your Best bet is to go to a dealer that sells the unit and just play with it.

Kenwood (and most other companies) release proprietary interfaces with no documentation for a reason (to force you to buy their stuff). The only thing I'm aware of that the touchscreen interface works with is the DV4100 navigation computer (also from Kenwood).
