alpine Type-Rs all the way. JlW3 deteriorate fast, the surround starts to flake and crumble.

Use to run type-Rs in the old car and are looking forward to getting the new ones for the solara.
Alpine + Dynaudio = Sonic bliss.

i think type R over the W3....but i think the W6 > type R.......i just switch from type R to W6.....if you are interested in buying a type R....i can hook you up with a great price... but yea ....type R over W3 for sure....but if you want to spent a lil bit more...definitely go with the W6

What's your budget for the sub(s)

I'm a huge fan of the Image Dynamics IDMAX 12" Send it 900+ watts RMS of class ab amp power and you will have sonic bliss.

Wee you could Get an Alpine Type X and just use one of those.. they are awsome, they go down to 23 hz.. Get a nice amp too. I have two 12" type R's in my trunk being powered by a MTX amp and they sound great. They hit the lows Really good

alpine type-rs eat w3s for breakfast.
Nascar would be a sport if half the cars were driving the other direction.

Yeah one will definitely be enough, but if you're crazy like me you get two and send them 900 watts each :evilbat:

Sleeper Solara I can get you an IDMAX and a perfect box for you for around 450, from an authorized dealer. You just need to pm me for the info cause you're not supposed to discount those things on the internet, and by selling it for 450 with box you'd have to discount the sub. And I don't want to get my friend in trouble

And it doesn't nec. need 1k watts to sound awesome.

PM me if you're interested.
