Diagram or Pic of the back of the 2004 head unit

Folks,

One last shot at installing the Sirius radio myself...

I can get the lower bin off, and the center console with no problem, but I can't get the guage pod off over the radio, so the head unit is not coming out. I can feel the connectors back there, but don't know what kind they are or what goes where. I have a left and right mini RCA from the Sirius unit, but don't know what adapters I need or where they plug in.

DOES ANYONE HAVE A PIC OF THE BACK OF THE HEAD UNIT, or a diagram? I could get it together if I just knew where things went. Otherwise it's down to Best Buy to pay for it to be installed.

for the gauge pod, just give a good yank (towards the back of the car)... i had a grip of the little overhang thing on top of the gauges... was actually quite easy... removing the harnesses behind it was another story... i just left them in and turned the gauge pod upside down and laid it on the dash while I did my work.

Yank it, huh?

I had my fingers on it, I just couldn't bring myself to pry or yank it any further. I could even see the clips. Dang.

Well, when you got your head unit off, what did the back look like? What kind of connectors? Where would I hook up the stereo in?

Thanks

I am checking out the BlitzSafe adapter. That should be a big help. I am assuming that only plugs in one way.

The adapter is for non-Nav units.

I have a similar version of the installation instructions, but there is still no diagram of the back of the unit, or any specs on the connectors used even. It just says "disconnect the connectors," and "reconnect the connectors." :-?
