New Alpine Type S speakers actin' up..........

Ok when i play certain song from my CD player [ which is an Alpine too]
When i play the certain song there is a ringin' noise comin' from the front driver speaker.
I know i mounted the speaker good on the door.
Could i have wired it wrong.
I know the speaker harness is green and pink i think; which one is the positive for the harness.
Cause the Alpine speaker is black and gray; and the gray is positive.

What you guys think it is??

Define "ringing".

If you wired it wrong, it would just be out of phase. Set your fader to the front and see if it sounds like the speakers are cancelling each other out (the low-end would sound muffled).

Is this a component or coaxial speaker (is it just in the lower door sill or do you have tweeters)? Check to see if it's blown. Also, try playing it without Media Xpander and see if you notice it... and then try it in another CD player somewhere.
