Anyone have oppinions on PPI amps?

or ppi in general?

I'm thinking of going MB Quart components all around with PPI amp and couple solobaric L7s...

Maybe even just do the whole thing in PPI... I dont have any experience in the PPI stuff but was told they're pretty high end...

I've never heard of them, so they're either "Holy crap" high end or absolute junk. :S

PPI amps are good amps. they push alot of power to subs depending on what model you have. ppi amps have been around quite awhile. i had one back in 98 when i used to drive civic and it was pushing my jl w-3's like crazy.
last standing...

The PPI Chrome series (old ones) are pretty good but pricey!! The new ones, I heard, are junk

What are some good multi channel amps nowadays? Last time I looked at ICE components was a couple years ago... been overseas...

MB Quart speakers a good choice? I know they're not as common as other brands but I also know they're pretty good when it comes to sound... I don't like being common.

I know the S12L7 are still pretty good when it comes to bass...
...right?

haha... trying to get back in on this... been away for too long...

the old ppi amps are very good, not the new ones

their old lower end subs were very good for low end subs

Anybody have any experience with the MB Quart amps? I've seen some good reviews on it but would like actual user input... thanks.

PPI made some excellent amplifiers back in 80 and early 90's. The ART series and AM series and ProMos series are all great amps. The later Power Class series amps are still good amps as well. I would stay away from the new amps and the PCX series. Any of the chrome PC series are very good as well. I have a pair of PPI PC 2600's running my 2 kicker 12L7's. Works great..

i had the old and the new, the old 1's with the chrome in the middle got to give them a dumbs down unless i jus had a bad 1 on the other hand the new precision power amps silver in color (not ppi) are good there true power whatever the wattage is true rms power but they do shut off when hot, hope that helps u out in any way and i think precision power is a cali thing
