im sorry to sound so stupid but i know nothing about audio. i have learned and forgotten everything about ohms and resistence 9 times so its worthless teaching me. just tell me a good setup of speakers is all i want,... cheap would be nice.

i dont care about subs yet, the factory 6 X 9's sounded okay until they popped. just need some insight to the best speakers that will work in unison with the factory head unit. i do know that some heavy duty speakers only sound good under heavy duty, but i want all around good speakers. you guys help me out.

set a price.

that can determine how good of a quality speakers you have to choose from.

the best bang for your buck is probably the infinity 6x9 and components in the front.

I have JL audio components in the front but i am thinking of changing to a/d/s or eclipse for both front and rears. also i love JL audio amps and subs, But the components just dont cut it for me after i heard the 2 i mentioned above.

I sure other members here will say infinity also... Best for you money..

Eclipse aren't that good... I heard a set last week... *barf* speakers are subletted for another company to make while the crossover is made by fujitsu-ten... waste of $900 (cost) lol - Diamond Hex > Eclipse Line Source

The Alpine S-Series speakers are quite nice, but still fair on the wallet. If you trust eBay, you can pick up good speakers for less than you'd expect.

but i mite end up going with a/d/s

I don't have the Eclipse speakers installed. It was a car in my friend's shop... it sounds like ass compared to the Hex. Plus I retuned my system again... even better now =D

seriously the best thing to do is to figure out how much $$ u have to sspend to begin with. after you figure that out where are you going to get it installed. then figure out what you want to chnage then think about what your going to get. everyone will tell you something different for whats good....infinity is good so is jl so is focal, so is apline blah blah.....hahaah good luck....

no more than $150. and im only looking at the rears now bc the front ones can hold up so long i balance most of the boom to the newer rears
maybe even some bass blockers for the front speakers,... i dont know enough to be dangerous with it, actually that is dangerous or something,.. lol i dont know you figure it out

for the rear you can go with the infinity 6x9 or even some Jl audios.. they are around $130 for the set.

for the fronts you can run bass blockers but with that you will sacrafice some sound quality. I did it to my daily drive with my old headunit and it sounds like shhiet. So i decided to change the headunit with a seperate sub and bass/trieble adjustment. made the sounds alot cleaner with subs.
