JBL speaker

Postby SleeperSolara » Tue Sep 21, 2004 8:27 am

I think the you should buy aftermarket like: HKSV6SLE, geminimouse said.
I have Alpine in my 6.5'' speaker and regular 6x9'' in the back all Alpine.
I was goin' to buy Panasonic for either the front or the back. But coulodn't find anyone in OKC that sold any.
Also are you running and aftermarket headunit??
If you are, look into any speakers who use the least amount power, and hits the best.
I think all of mine hit about 92-93 dbs.
Now if you have a aftermarket headunit, run a small amp to power the aftermarket speakers.
I'm runnin from my Alpine headunit, for now.
I can turn it up to 12 for the CD player and get a good bass feel in my driver seat.
On the radio i have it to 16 for the bass to kick in.
I'm not sure if you that kind of person who likes to feel the bass in the seat.
But i know i am. :D

yea, i hav an alpine unit also, i think im gunna get mb quart speakers cuz i heard they were good and theyll match my subs, and i guess ill get the polkmomo 4-way carbon series to match my sub amp. that amp is kinda expensive tho :-? i was thinkin of replacing the jbl speaker cuz only one is out and they sound alrit (plus i just dished out 1.2g's on my sub system), but the others startin to sound a lil crappy now too, i guess cuz i play my music too loud. lol. so, i guess i may as well just do it right the first time and get new speakers and an amp. anyway... thx for the input

Speakers

Postby SleeperSolara » Tue Sep 21, 2004 2:19 pm

Well, i have one front JBL speaker, and one rear speaker for the Solara.
I could sell you the front one, but you would have to solder the speaker harness. Or you could send me the harness and i could do that, and wire the speaker an easy way.
