The tn52 tweeters are amazing. Bit expensive but well worth the money.
I mounted the crossovers on the black box thing on the door panel...anyone know what that thing is?

Man, shoulda hooked it up all the way with those Rainbow comps. Now thats livin plush. lol

Those focals are very hot, good score. 8)

And yo are they much louder than stock? Im looking for upgrades on the front, as i left the rear 6x9 speakers ripped out and the hole open for subwoofer to pass thru the deck from the trunk.

You need something in the 6x9 area or the sound staging sounds weird... you need something that can produce mid tones (usually a 6.5 speaker should be fine, 6x9 are lame) or you can get mini-subs (5 inch subs) for mid-tones :D

Yea..now when I turn up the volume, it's not just the subs thumping, I can actually hear the lyrics. :P

I ripped out, literally, the rear 6x9s cuz they both blew out flow excessive loud playing. JBL system sucks for loudness, but the front 6.5s can keep up a little, what am I saying, not at all with my 12. Right when I took them out, and left it open air to the cabin and trunk, I heard more bass def. Not in my head, it actually did something. I might replace the rear with 6.5 to round out the sound since now there is no music coming from the rear, but the filling bass and poundin thump is good. It makes it sound like music from front, where you are sitting, and bass from behind. Its not bad.

sorry, sometimes i'm lazy and been kinda busy lately
actually, i gotta get up for work in 4 hours :(
anyway,
sound staging is actually BETTER when there's nothing in the rears
music sounds live when there are no speakers in the rears and you have a nice set of components in the fronts

even better when you have a tweeter and mids in the kickpanels and midbass in the doors

try it out... it might sound odd to you at first, but try it for a bit, you'll be able to hear the benefits
