blown fuses/bad input stage
My amp's blowin' fuses every time I turn the HU on (remote to remote wire). However when I turn it on connecting the battery lead to the remote,, it runs at a steady 12.4 (obviously with no sound). I did a little bit of research and found that this might be a "bad input stage". Ugh,,,, research over the internet didn't do much from there searching for an array of things at other audio forum sites and google.
First: Does anyone know the best route to go on this?
Second: does anyone know any really good car audio forums (besides this one!).
Third: What happens when a magnet is introduced to the grounding wire of the Head unit,,,, can that make the amp short?
